The Alameda County Law Library allows all members of the public to use the law library. The law library’s focus is on providing current, practice-oriented California and some federal legal information such as codes, cases, citators, treatises, law reviews, self-help materials, practice guides, and manuals.
Visitors can access many of the library’s databases including LEXIS Advanced, HeinOnline, NOLO (EBSCO Legal Information Reference Center), and WestlawNext using public workstations within the Main Library in Oakland or South Branch in Hayward.
